One-Camp Reloaded

CAMP DATE: 15th to 17th JUNE 2009
LOCATION: dairy farm adventure.
CAMP THEME: Superheroes
GROUP NAME: NINJA TURTLES


this is one camp-reloaded =D NINJA TURTLES! th group which i was leading thru` out th camp. Due to th fact that my co-leader, GABRIEL E. hurt himself before th camp, hence he only joined us during some parts of th camp. even though most of th time, i was with th group myself, th group was pretty co-operative. i guessed we've made friends, and learn new things through th camp. isn't it!

Here are some of th games i want to share with all of you which taught me new things=D it's not in sequence though.

we played wet games, and during this wet games, it really bond my group tgt, especially during th finale, it's made up of a few components, first, you had to spin 10rounds, thn roll on th canvas mat, filled with soap, while th station masters threw water bombs at you. then, you have to eat th banana and throw th skin into th pail.after which, you had to bite out a white mentoes from th plate filled with flour. and spit it into th bowl. apparently, i've never taken bananas in my entire life. but i was trying to force myself to eat th banana so as not to bring th group down, my group actually cheered me on after knowing i'm afraid of bananas & dont like to eat bananas. Abraham was th last person to run th race, th whole group ran with him and cheered him on th way. i guess this is what team work is too=D well, i love NINJA TURTLES.

we also played this kiddy pool thing. sounds cute ah. neh ah! it's filled with dirty stuffs lo!. and you have to dig in deep deep deep inside, ok luhs, not so deep. i exaggerated it. you just have to dig in to search for items.=( but it taught me that, in life, you cant always see what you want straight in your face, you have to search, deep within, so as to achieve what you want=)

next, th amazing race, th group really ran as one, despite GabrielE.'s injuries, he still ran with us, KUDOS to you! even though it really hurt when he ran up th stairs again and again, but he insisted on running with us. he really did his best=D th dominoes part was hard, as there was wind, and we were supposed to make th phrase " one camp- reloaded" his perserverance taught me smth new too=D

we also had fear factor, food edition. which is EEW, i took part in th first one, damn gross. it was bread with fish oil, bitter gourd etc. i spit out everything, cos it's purely disgusting luhs! cant take it. tooo gross! but at least i've tried!at least i didn't give up! like my friend once told me, you're losing half th battle if you dont want to try.

th finale night, our skit was really one of those what-the-heck-is-this-skit-about type. hahaha! but who cares? it was hilarous, cos ppl laughed! and most importantly, my group had fun!

something which i find meaningful today

sometimes, what you learn, might not just benefit you academically, it might teach you something new about your values in your life=]

i was talking to daryl about wanting to learn muaythai, but mum once told me that muay thai is kinda spiritual and stuffs. hence, i gave up that thought. well well well, daryl said that "cool is cool budden u need to tahan all those pain if u fight wit another muay thai", it triggered my thoughts, learning things will also teach you values like not giving up easily and stuffs? cos aft you endure all these physical pain, what else can you not endure?

now, another thing to share=] it linked my flow of thoughts to when we were learning dance for SYF. we had dance practice on tues&thurs, 3hours+ of intensive practice, hard core ones. like keep repeating th movements & stuffs. till most of us had blisters, and blueblacks all over our feet. or ankle while doing some sliding. not only physically, but we were tired everyday from dance practice as we also had to cope with our homework. this taught me th determination i had to have in my life. i used to give up on things i do whenever i dont get th results i want, was it right? no, it wasn't. th joy that we had when we got our results for SYF, th feelings are more than what we ever need to pay back for th efforts we made in those practices. so what if it's just a silver award? it was our first year participating in SYF, and we did our very best=] it taught us determinations & patience!

i feel that life is not always about th results, its about what you've gained in th process. life's all about learning, isn't it?

what's wrong with making friends?

girl, do you ever think whether you're th one who is drifting away from her? saying that you're not impt anymore? about her getting closer to us? hmm. since that day, we've been trying to make you talk to them, moreover, they've alr made th first step to talk to you. and what did you say? "they are not my friends" hmm.. reflect & think about it? dont go around complaining to th seniors can? if you're not happy, come and tell us, if you treat us as friends, you'd have tried to clear th misunderstandings and not complain to th seniors. you're just trying to tell me that you're seriously pathetic. come on! are you trying to gain some sympathy? Oplease!

next, up tday, blogging about th meet up with Jean, we've chatted for a long time! went to eat at sakae that day with jean. hahaha! we got a shock when we saw that th udon we ordered. it came in a super huge bowl! and well well well, it wasn't filled to th brim of course! like a lil more than 1/3 of th huge bowl. Aft which, we went to burger king, had a piece of cake, and off we went to th playground where we took super lots of pics can?!sxzsxzsxzsxz










yea. this is what i do with jeanlovely when we get together! we took 100s of pics luhs! of course i'm not putting all of them here! there're other things i wanna blog about too=( but nt today though! hahahaah! =]

sometimes, i just wonder if people can be a lil' bit kinder? for example, giving up your seats in th trains to those who needs it better? Well, i felt so aft that day when i was on th train, on my way to my mummy's salon, there was these 3 people, 2 lady, 1 man, quite elderly also( i assume they are in their 60s). they each took a seat ( duh!~ obviously,) so th 2 ladies were chatting, thn a malay guy from th other side of th man alighted, th auntie then asked th man( i assume again, to be her husband) to shift to th side, so that she can have more space, this time, 3 of them, occupying 4 seats. nevermind! subsequently, an old lady board th train from th next station, th selfish aunty, just looked at th old lady, and continued chatting with th other aunty. come on luhs! cant you just give one seat to that old lady? she's so old alr ley! O. Singapore.. what's becoming of you?

this is another incident, but not trying to pin point to any country luhs. its just that, that time, i gave up my seat to an old man. and th old man was like " buay hiao kin la, ah moi, li ka ki ze( never mind la girl, you sit- in hokkien) thn i keep insisting. so, while we were insisiting, this china lady, she went to sit down, at th seat where i was previously sitting. thn i was like !!!!!!!. see? this is how some people are so.. super not AUTOMATIC!!.

much to blog. too tired

i wanted to blog today, but something really made me unhappy and upset after talking to Shawn. i know its not his fault for not telling me about th group completing th proj. i dont know whoever who told him i wanted to look for th lecturer, i've not even talked to anyone of you since i've came back from camp. if you're th one who wants to look for th lecturer, dont put words into my mouth just because i wasnt present at th meeting. if you have th guts to say it, have th guts to face it luhs, why put th blame onto others? hate cowards like you.! & you, i keep smsing you, thn you dont wanna reply, what th heck you want me to do ? i never expect you to reply me on th spot or whatsoever right? SO LONG AS YOU REPLY! just reply? i called you, you also dont wanna pick up. what th eff luhs. mood spoiler!

Today had POA ICA, not say that difficult, guess studying really works=D before that went to library to study POA, didn't really study there, cos last min dont really work for me. hahah! so i camwhored a lil with KOANNA. guess what? heshun thought Joanna's surname is KOH-.- cos KOANNA, really made me laugh! hahahah!

tmr's got stats ica, i'm going to study ltr, kinda tired, dont really feel like studying :PpP i'm tired tired tired! i wanna slp slp slp!

bad day?good day?

ytd went to POA make up class in th morning. supposed to meet up with keith, but he walked str. past me to blk C without seeing me. OMG. LOL!. but i bumped into James, he wanted to go home de lo! i asked him to go POA class. dont be so lazy. hahaha! and he went. yup. terrill joined us in class aft that. saw Agatha agn. ! my new girlf. anw. aft class went to eat with th guys. was thinking whether to meet ern2 anot cos i wasnt feeling well. yea. we met up, but i kept going to th toilet to vomit! so we didn't stayed too long. we went to daiso. i bought many many things. a card to make smth nice for jean & some stuffs to pack my room up, a file, miso soup, crackers & a packet of drinks. hahah! yeah. thn went home, sis's friends came over for some discussion over how sis's bday should be like etc. yeah. they left about 10. sis & bf sent them home. hahaha!. i felt like vomiting agn, so i slept like.. super early. not like th usual fridays i had. anw. off to study now for POA & stats! byeeeee!

after soooo long!

these are th overdued pics i promised to upload after going out with anna that day. hahahs. we went to buy some stuffs. yeah. and ERN2's face all th same! we kept talking & getting lost that day. thn we were like " eh eh! wait. not here, there." not once, not twice, but many times. 2blur queesn!. lol! meeting her tmr agn. IMM DAISO! lol! hope we wont get lost agn! lalala!







next up, some really super duper overdued pics. looking at these pics, i really hope that i can be like them. anw, they are my cousins' children. Jayden, ZiHan & Charis. th little baby. it was her 1st month that day! hahahas!

anw. went to SU dragon boating & th general meeting. it was quite fun. yeaaa. &GB one camp reloaded will be up next! yay! hahahas. supposed to be one of th game masters, but changed to become a group leader. i think that'll be more fun! i cant wait to see my girlfs like.. AGN! its been sucha longgggg time since i've last saw them luhs! miss miss miss. i wanna go GB GB GB GB~

school was kinda light this week, not as hectic as before. cos today Mrs Viju cancelled th class tdy as she was sick. well well well, why is everyone sick? including me. GET WELL SOON EVERYONE. Same to Genevie^^ (ok, that was lame) yeaaaa. hmmmm! &today's lab lesson was alr put forward to last friday, so tdy ended like super early, we were only in sch for 1 & a half hour.

aft class went to study with Jancy, Heshun, Yanzhi ( wang shan shan) >.<, Terrill, & yongjian. yeaaa. i finally balanced my balance sheet luhs! smart girl=) (ok. that was.. shameless). right, back to reality. we ended up telling each other some jokes luh! damn lame!.i'll post some of it here to share with you.

1. 2 sausages were in a freezer, and sausageA said" its freeeeezing here."& sausageB said " omg... i didn't know you could speak". ( there's more effect when said in mandarin) - terrill

2.there's a hospital ward, thought to be haunted, reason being? cos` every friday, there'll be a person who dies, regardless of th sickness, age etc. so th doctors & nurses brought along their crosses, bibles, amulets etc. with th intention to ward off whatever spirit there is. &guess what they saw? hahaha! .......

3. lion was holding a birthday party, he invited centipede, tortoise and pig to his party. So, centipede, tortoise & pig decided to get a cake as for lion. they were discussing who to collect th cake on the day of th party.

pig: i go i go i go ( super enthu).

tortoise: huh! you wanna go ah. ltr you eat th cake or you slp half way lo (sian 1/2)

centipede: thn you go lo (innocent)

pig: huh? tortoise go? he so slow. by th time he come back what time liao?( not happy)

tortoise: what the hell you mean? ok luhs. centipede! you go lo. ( a lil angry)

centipede: ok lo.. i go ( still looking innocent)

when it was all dark, late into th night, centipede was still not back.why?..

POA exam is next monday, Statistics on Tuesday, Access(individual) on thursday. & i'm studying studying studying. mug mug mug! anyone wanna teach me stats?! lol! dear genevie here needs help!! LOL!
